POLICE CONSTABLE (S)

The South Simcoe Police Service is currently accepting resumes for the position of Police Constable.  South Simcoe Police serves the municipalities of Bradford West Gwillimbury and Innisfil, bordering the City of Barrie to the north and York Region to the south, and encompasses approximately 350 square kilometres.  Nestled on the beautiful shores of Lake Simcoe, the Service is responsible for policing almost forty-five miles of lake shore, which includes marine patrols in the summer, and snowmobile patrols in the winter.  The Service is committed to ensuring that the policing needs of the community continue to be met by using modern technology, staff training and development, compliance with Provincial guidelines and planned resource deployment.

Applicants must meet minimum requirements as outlined in the Police Services Act.   For new recruits:  The South Simcoe Police Service subscribes to the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) Constable Selection System, and only resumes accompanied by an OACP Certificate of Test Results will be considered.
