POLICE CONSTABLE

 The Smiths Falls Police Service has an opening for a Police Constable.  Applicants must meet the requirements for employment as set out in the Police Services Act of Ontario and possess a valid OACP Certificate of Results.

 Applicants must also be able to:

  • Provide a current First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate

  • Provide a certificate of medical fitness

  • Provide a certificate from a qualified optometrist

 Applicants chosen for interviews or medicals must attend the Smiths Falls Police Service at their own expense.  Applicants must undergo and pass a medical examination and be prepared for a comprehensive background check.
